About the Scholar
Clinical knowledge means nothing if it can't be communicated clearly. That's the standard that runs through every paper I write across medicine, public health, and nursing, and it's what 1,500+ assignments have sharpened to a fine point.
I hold a MS in Nursing from Columbia University, and a BS in Medicine and Biological Sciences from Duke University. My research focused on health equity and the epidemiology of chronic disease in underserved urban populations, work that required translating complex clinical data into policy-relevant writing that non-specialists could understand and act on. That skill, bridging the technical and the accessible without sacrificing rigor, is what I bring to every assignment.
Before focusing on academic writing full time I spent seven years as a public health researcher at a federally funded epidemiology lab, producing peer-reviewed manuscripts, NIH grant proposals, and systematic literature reviews. That environment demands a standard of evidence and citation that most academic writers have never worked under. Every claim sourced, every methodology justified, every conclusion limited to what the data actually supports.
I've written across every format medicine, public health, and nursing require: case studies, research papers, literature reviews, SOAP notes, care plans, health policy analyses, and epidemiological reports. From undergraduate nursing coursework to doctoral-level public health research, the clinical rigor doesn't change based on the level.
